Plot Summary:Kururi Takuzo runs the traditional Japanese confectionery shop, or Kururiya, in Kototoibashi, Tokyo, Japan. The dongo (Japanese rice flour treat) shop has been in the family for three generations. He is fifty-six and alone, however, since his latest divorce. He roams around Tokyo in his spare time indulging his photography bug with the camera his father bought him once. Spurred by a fellow shop owner who met a woman at a cooking class he begins taking courses and falls for the teacher Kaede.
