隐居多年的名作家奥诺夫，因其居所附近发生命案而成为疑犯，不料盘问的警长却是奥诺夫的忠实读者，对其作品情有独钟，一些盘问变成了相逢恨晚的知己对话，一些鲜为人知的往事也被一一道出……到底奥诺夫有罪否？死者是谁？Onoff is a famous writer who hasn't published any new books for quite some time and has become a recluse. When he is picked up by the police one stormy night, without any identification, out of breath and running madly, without clear memory of recent events, the Inspector is suspicious. Through interrogatory dialectic, the head of this lonely, isolated, broken-down police station tries to establish what has happened, by delving into the mind of his writer-hero, and clearing up a mysterious killing.
